Malang, February, 10th 2024 – The Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia has issued an official decree (SK) regarding the change in status from the Al-Qolam Malang Islamic Institute to Al-Qolam University Malang.
It is hoped that the change in status from IAI Al-Qolam to Al-Qolam University Malang will make a greater contribution to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia and will open wider doors for students to develop their academic potential.
This change in status is based on the results of an evaluation carried out by the Ministry of Religion regarding the performance and management of IAI Al-Qolam Malang so far. Al-Qolam University Malang is expected to be able to contribute to producing quality and competent graduates in facing global challenges.
The campus also plans to expand facilities, improve the quality of lecturers, and collaborate with educational institutions and industry to produce graduates who not only have extensive academic knowledge but also skills that are in line with the demands of the times.
With this change, it is hoped that it can make a greater contribution to the world of education and human resource development in Indonesia.
