TBIG : Implementation new curriculum ” Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) in 2022 officialy is starting to form. Subjects efficiency must be taken as a consequention of taking this. The regulation which is forced students take about 20 credits out of the Major makes TBIG also need to accomodate and anticipate the students need.
Lecturer meeting was held to form the subjects which is going to be placed in MBKM. The meeting decided about twenty subjects to spread out in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth semester .
The MBKM policy is implemented in order to realize an autonomous and flexible learning process in higher education so that universities can design and implement innovative learning processes so that students can achieve optimal learning outcomes including aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills.
This policy also aims to increase links and matches with the business and industrial world, as well as to prepare students for the world of work from the start (Director General of Higher Education, 2020).
Furthermore, the MBKM policy aims to improve the competency of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, so that they are better prepared and relevant to the needs of the times, as well as preparing graduates as future leaders of the nation who are superior and have personality.
