Last Saturday, April 27th, 2023, DEMA (Student Executive Council) AL-Qolam Islamic Institute held a Grand Inauguration for HMJ ( Student Association) and UKM (Student Activity Unit) for the 2022/2023 period. The inauguration which was held in the Al-Qolam Auditorium Room was attended by Deputy Chancellor III, Dean of the Faculty, Head of Study Program, guests from each HMJ and UKM as well as the administrators to be inaugurated.
The pre-event began with performances of Shalawat Al-Banjari and Pagar Nusa from UKM Al-Qolam Islamic Institute
The event continued with the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur’an, singing Indonesia Raya and Mars Al-Qolam, and then continued with remarks from the chief executive, the Student President (Presma) , and remarks the Vice Chancellor III. After that, it was time for the main event, namely the Reading of the Decree and the Pledge.
The inauguration ceremony ended at 12.30 p.m. The event ran smoothly until it was finished.

With this inauguration, a new period for ESA begins led by a new chairman and management, it is hoped that in the future ESA will continue to maintain cohesiveness to be more innovative and creative for the success of the English Department and Al-Qolam Islamic Institute.
