ESA IIQ ALQOLAM – First semester students of English Education Department of the Al-Qolam Islamic Institute on October 20th, 2023 carried out very commendable activities, namely social service and donations to the children of the Taslimiyah orphanage in the Bululawang, Malang, East Java.
Donation is a very special moment, where we can share happiness and love with those in need. This is a time to open our hearts and expand our understanding of the needs and challenges faced by those around us. In this moment, let us appreciate our own good fortune and be grateful for all that we have, while remembering how important it is to provide assistance to those less fortunate than us.
One of ’23 students, Adib said that the background to this activity was simply that they wanted to share a little they had, togetherness and also as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT.

On the other hand, the caretakers of the Taslimiyah Orphanage, in this case conveyed by Miss Luluk, expressed their gratitude to all the students of the Al-Qolam Islamic Institute who had provided compensation. According to her, the visit of students from Al-Qolam was a motivation for the children in the orphanage and they hoped that in the future there would be other visits.
