October 17th, 2024 – ESA (English Student Association) has successfully held the 9th Department Orientation known as EGSORT (English outdoor activity) with the theme “Embracing Diversity Through Language”. As a tradition, all new students of English Education Department must hold a kind of mini-orientation. This activity was held in Gentong Mas, Wajak to welcome the new students.
This year’s EGSORT activities were handled by ’23 students as a committee. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen the integrity of the English Study Program. With the fun and enjoyable game by the committee, hope that the new students are more enthusiastic in learning English with fun media.
The presence of Mr. Hanif Maulaniam Sholah, M.Pd as the Head of English Education Study Program, Lecturers and also representatives from Seniors and Alumnus supported this event. In the 8th year of holding EGSORT, it has become an opportunity to strengthen skills in English. Moreover, this activity can make students not afraid to try new things, more confident and remain enthusiastic about learning.
With the implementation of this agenda, hopefully it will be a benefit for everyone, especially new students. The 9th English Outdoor Activity that took place was nothing other than a form of solidarity and maintaining fraternal relations between the many parties involved.
