AL-QOLAM AWARD 2023 is an annual activity held by IAI AL-QOLAM on January 16-18 2023. This activity is a platform for competition to increase interest and talent to produce quality and competent students.
January 16, 2023: And same as last year, the committee from ESA (English Student Association) continued to organize and handle one of the competitions, namely the Story Telling Competition. With carrying the theme “SPEAK UP NOW” Indonesian and Foreign Folklore stories. Al-Qolam Award 2023 Story Telling Competition has received support from several sponsor partners, such as Indosat, a well-known provider card company in Indonesia, which also supports our event by providing card vouchers to all participants.
In addition, the Story Telling competition managed to attract attention by accepting registration for more than 35 participants from High School students from various cities on the island of Java, from Malang even to Gresik.
By inviting professional judges from lecturers and alumni of Al-Qolam Islamic institute, this interesting Story Telling competition won the 3 best participants, namely:
1st Winner: Sivana Naura Arimbi, From Malang National High School
2nd Winner: Indah Choirun Nisa, From Malang National High School
3rd Winner: Abeer Subair, From Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang
The winners apart from receiving trophies and certificates also received educational vouchers in the form of cash which were given to appreciate and encourage the hard work of students in learning.
All ESA committees congratulate and succeed all participants who have joined this event. Not forgetting also to thank all parties involved who have helped both physically and morally to make this annual event a success.
ESA students with the success of this event have once again proven that their persistence, cooperation, and hard work deserve appreciation. Hopefully, the success of the event at the start of this year will be the starting point that will spur enthusiasm to be even better in next events.
