NEWS – On November 3-4 2023, the Tarbiyah Faculty at the Al-Qolam Islamic Institute Malang underwent a assesmen lapangan for the English study program. This activity was carried out by the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) with guidance from two expert assessors, namely Basikin, S.Pd., M.Phil., M.Ed., Ph.D, and Dr. Listyaning Sumardiyani, M.Pd.
This team of assessors leads an in-depth evaluation process on various aspects of educational quality in the Tadris English study program. From evaluations to human resources, every element is evaluated to ensure that high accreditation standards are met.
Basikin, S.Pd., M.Phil., M.Ed., Ph.D, as one of the assessors, said, “IAI Al-Qolam Malang shows high dedication in organizing the English Tadris program. “This field assessment process provides a comprehensive picture of the strengths and potential of the development program studies.”
Listyaning Sumardiyani, M.Pd, added, “We see real efforts to continue to improve the quality of learning and program implementation. The team provided constructive recommendations and suggestions that will hopefully serve as valuable guidance for future development.”
Muhammad Adib, Rector of IAI Al-Qolam Malang, expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the assessor team and the good collaboration between the institution and LAMDIK. “This field assessment is an important step in ensuring that the English study program at IAI Al-Qolam continues to develop in line with student needs and the demands of the times.”
After two intensive days, the field assessment process ended with providing feedback and recommendations. The next step involves further evaluation by LAMDIK before a final accreditation decision is announced. Success in this assessment will be a big encouragement for IAI Al-Qolam in providing quality English language education that is relevant to the development of higher education.
