
On Saturday, July 19th, 2025, the ESA Goes To School program was successfully held at Al-Rahbini Junior & Senior High School in Gondanglegi. The event started at 09.00 AM and was attended by 100 enthusiastic students from both Al-Rahbini Junior & Senior High School.
The activity opened with a series of welcoming speeches. The first was delivered by the Head of the Tadris Bahasa Inggris Study Program, Mr. Hanif Maulaniam Sholah, M.Pd, followed by the Principal of SMP Al-Rahbini, Ustadzah Danik Lailatul Rohmah, S.Pd., Gr., and Abdul Azis, a 2nd-semester English student who also acted as the program coordinator.

The event continued with a fun Ice Breaking session through quizzes that immediately grabbed the students’ attention. The whole room became lively as students eagerly competed to answer questions, especially since special prizes awaited those brave enough to speak up and show their English skills.
Afterward, the participants were divided into 8 groups, each led by 2 mentors from ESA. In the classroom session, students engaged in fun English learning activities for one hour, gaining new vocabulary, practicing simple conversations, and learning in a more relaxed and interactive environment.
The entire program ran smoothly and was full of laughter and excitement. The students enjoyed every moment of the session, actively participating and showing great enthusiasm. The teachers and school staff expressed their heartfelt appreciation to ESA for bringing such an engaging and motivational experience to their school.
n conclusion, ESA Goes To School not only gave the students a fun day but also inspired them to be more confident in speaking English. Hopefully, this program can continue to be a bridge for young learners to experience enjoyable and interactive English learning. As one of the students said, “Learning English with ESA mentors is really fun, we can speak up without feeling shy!”
