In my opinion, the culture that is now disappearing is the games that I used to play with my childhood friends when I was little, such as playing congklak, clap ice cream sticks, hide and seek, jump rope, and others. Because I see kids nowadays playing gadgets more than games like when I was little.
Technological developments indeed have many advantages, but this technological development also has a negative side such as making today’s children addicted to gadgets such as handphone, many parents today are when their children are fussy, they definitely give handhone to keep their children quiet, as a result making children become dependence on it. Addiction to gadgets also makes children unable to learn to socialize and makes children not care about their surroundings, because they are too focused on gadgets.

BOY-BOYAN TRADITIONAL GAME
Boy boyan is a traditional game originating from the province of West Java, especially in the Sunda area. But this game as well known to the area where I live, in Putat Lor.
When I was little, my friends and I always played boy-boyan after finishing the Koran in the afternoon. In fact, during school breaks we also play it. The tools used are tile shards, baseballs or plastic balls. We have to play it in 2 teams and held in the field or yard.
The way to play it is by throwing a baseball to the winning group to thwart its action or movement in compiling the tile fragments that were previously knocked down by the baseball. Meanwhile, the group that lost was tasked with aborting the personnel members by hitting a baseball thrown at their bodies.
This game is very pleasurerable. Because when the baseball is thrown out of bounds, it can go into a ditch or a dirty puddle. And yeah! We continue this game with the condition of the dirty baseball. In playing this game we must be active, like running. So that every time the game takes place we are always sweating and in a dirty body condition.
This game is starting to be rarely seen because of the tendency of today’s children who prefer to play their gadgets. This is inseparable from the ease of access to technology that is growing and slowly being replaced by traditional games.
